Thousands Turn Out To Watch Ukraine Eliminations 2007! |

 It was the kind of setting you can't quite believe but on the historic steps in the city of Odessa,next to the black sea,16 of the best crews & 40 solo b-boys from across the Ukraine,Russia,Belarus & Moldova came to take part in the regions first UK Championships elimination. Some of the crews had travelled 2 days to be there and backstage the warm-up was the first sign of what was to come.The first comp was for the solo b-boy place and 40 dancers started in the four-way battles with 2 going through from each battle into the last 16.The b-boys had to work hard in the heat with tempretures well into the 90's.The style of the main contenters was evident right from the start and Top 9's b-boy Robin took the final to claim his place in the World Solo Battle. If the solo's were hard fought,then the crew battles were off the hook.The level was extremely high and every crew seemed to have endless routines matched by insane blow-ups,all delivered on beat with flava! The final was between All The Most/Back to Skool and East Side B-boys although the semi between Eastside and Top 9 was undoubtably the illest battle of the day.Incredibly,after all the rounds of battles,the final saw both crews giving everything they had in pursuit of victory and the chance to represent their country at the UK B-Boy Championships World Finals..If this years start is anything to go by,then this region just maybe a new power in b-boying..Watch this space!
