This weekend was the North East China Eliminations and it was a great turn out and event .  70 Poppers turned up for the battle to be judged by Dino (last years winner) Feng Zheng (Keep On Dancing) and Popping DS (Korea) . For the crew battles there was another great turn out with 25 crews competing. They were judged by Keven (last years 1on1 winner) Drunk (BC One Asia champion) and BNJ (from X Power crew) .  For the 1on1 b-boy battle there were around 60-70 competing soloists . The event, held over 2 days in a great circle in the center of town was unfortunately hampered by heavy rain late on the second day meaning the final battles had to take place in a near by studio . None the less, the event drew a huge audience and also featured a ‘new style’ dance competition which also saw over 60 people entered. It was a long day for official UK Champs DJ DSK, who had to dj 100 bboy battles and over 50 popping battles!  Organizers X-Power said,” With this amazing turn-out , it shows b-boying is fast becoming a phenomenom here in China”. With more regional eliminations to be staged, it could well turn out to be the biggest National qualifier for the 2008 UK B-Boy champsionships. 
All the winners of each category from the north east eliminations now go thorough the China National final in Beijing where they will meet the winners from the other regional qualifiers .
